The purpose of our stay in Gerringong is to love the people of Werri Beach Holiday Park & the town of Gerringong through sharing the gospel of Jesus in action & word.
We recognise that the risen, ascended Lord Jesus is establishing his kingdom in this world by his powerful Holy Spirit, through those He has called. Our aim is be instruments that God uses to expand his kingdom as we give testimony to the risen Lord Jesus.
Through all this, we aim to give God the honour & glory that he deserves.

ABOUT US
Scripture Union Family Missions are one of Australia’s biggest outreach events.
SUFMs aim to share the Good News of Jesus with holiday makers and locals, young and old, believers and not-yet-believers. They do this through big & small events, building friendships or even through walk-up evangelism & door knocking. Every mission is different! But they all have the same desire to go and make disciples of Jesus.
The SUFMs run in caravan parks, towns & schools over the summer every year. The 50 teams run from 5 to 10 days in length. On team you’ll find kids, young adults, mums, dads & the golden oldies!
SUFM Gerringong was formally known as CSSM Werri Beach Mission & the furthest we've dated it back to is 1964! However, we believe it started even before then.
Events included a lantern parade, building a beach pulpit, puppet shows & fighting-the-tide.

PURPOSE
VISION
We see Acts 2:42-47 played out- a community of believers devoted to God's word, fellowship, breaking of bread & prayer. We see believers doing life together, praying for each other, & are overflowing with joy & grace.
We see the gospel shared practically through providing free holiday activities to children, young people & families. We see people curious, asking questions & are wanting to investigate Jesus more.
